Black Tiger Sex Machine, often abbreviated BTSM, are a Canadian electronic music trio based in Montreal, Quebec. The trio are the label heads for Kannibalen Records, which has signed such artists as Kai Wachi, Apashe, Dabin and Lektrique. BTSM specialize in aggressive, dark electronic music, as well as a live show that extends beyond a DJ performance. The trio are Marc Chagnon, Julien Maranda and Patrick Barry. The group wear illuminated tiger helmets during their live shows. Live show Black Tiger Sex Machine perform a live show as a three piece band. They utilize a central mixer, drum machines, launchpads and keyboards, with a lighting setup that is synced with their music, including the LED lighting on their tiger helmets. Electric Zoo is an annual electronic music festival held over Labor Day weekend in New York City on Randall's Island. The festival represents all genres of electronic music, bringing top international DJs and live acts from multiple countries to four stages. "Gold (Stupid Love)" is a song by Canadian producer and DJ Excision and American musician, DJ and producer Illenium, featuring American singer-songwriter Shallows. It was released on 17 July 2018 by Abel's record label Excision Music and was distributed by Caption Records. Background and release Near the end of March, Illenium tweeted that he and Excision were working together, with Excision teasing a project file on Instagram a month later. Nicholas Daniel Miller (born December 26, 1990), professionally known as Illenium, is an American DJ, record producer, and songwriter. He has released four studio albums, his most recent being '' Fallen Embers'', released in July 2021. It earned Illenium his first Grammy nomination. One of Illenium's more notable albums, ''Ascend'', was released in August 2019 on Astralwerks. Excision (musician)
Jeff Abel (born 29 April 1986), better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian producer and disc jockey. He is the founder of Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records. Active since 2006, his first release, "Warning", was in 2007. He released an annual "Shambhala" mix album in the third quarter of each year until 2016. He started his own music festival (Lost Lands) the following year and releases annual mixes. He is known for his tours with immense sound systems and huge visual productions. Hayden Capuozzo (born October 8, 1991), better known by his stage name Kayzo, is an American DJ and producer based in Los Angeles, California.
