Black Seed (film)
''Black Seed'' ( mk, Црно семе translit. Crno seme) is a 1971 Macedonian drama film directed by Kiril Cenevski. The film was selected as the Yugoslav entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 44th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.Margaret Herrick Library, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences It was also entered into the 7th Moscow International Film Festival. The film recounts the story of Macedonian soldiers in the Greek army being transported to prison camps on Greek islands. Suspected of being communists, they are maltreated by the Greek officers running the camp. Kiril Cenevski
Kiril Cenevski ( mk, Кирил Ценевски; 28 January 1943 – 17 June 2019) was a Macedonian film director. Education and career Cenevski studied at the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Skopje. He completed a graduate program in Motion Pictures and Television at the School of Cinema and Television, University of Southern California, USA. He began his career as an assistant director on television productions and documentaries in the late '60s. Cenevski made his feature-film debut as a director with 'Crno Seme'(Black Seed) in 1971. Though his subsequent filmography is sparse, Cenevski was active in theater and television. At one time, Cenevski chaired the Union of Macedonian Film Workers. One of the highpoints of his career was his "Golden Lens" award in 2013, which Cinematheque of Macedonia awarded for outstanding contribution to the Macedonian cinematography. Mites are small arachnids (eight-legged arthropods). Nenad Milosavljević (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Милосављевић, born February 6, 1954), also known as Neša Galija (Неша Галија), is a Serbian musician and politician, best known as the frontman of the Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band Galija. He is the brother of Galija vocalist and lyricist Predrag Milosavljević. Nenad Milosavljević is a member of Socialist Party of Serbia, and is a former deputy in the National Assembly of Serbia.
