Douglas Richard TenNapel ( ; born July 10, 1966) is an American animator, writer, cartoonist, video game designer, and comic book artist whose work has encompassed animated television, video games, and comic books. He is best known for creating Earthworm Jim, a character that spawned a video game series, animated series, and a toy line. He is also the creator of the animated television series ''Catscratch'' (2005–2007), which aired on Nickelodeon, and was itself a loose adaptation of TenNapel's comic book limited series ''Gear''. ''Random! Cartoons'' is an American animated anthology series that aired on Nicktoons. Much like ''Oh Yeah! Cartoons'', it was created by Fred Seibert and produced by Frederator Incorporated and Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It premiered on December 6, 2008, and ended on December 20, 2009. Production Creator Fred Seibert ordered 13 half-hour episodes (39 7-minute segments) for the series, which was originally announced in 2005 as the fourth season of ''Oh Yeah! Cartoons''. Production on the series started in 2005 and ended in 2007. Originally slated to air on Nickelodeon by the end of 2007, it was later halted for release in 2008 on the separate Nicktoons Network channel. Frederator Studios is an American animation television production studio which is a division of Frederator Networks, Inc. It was founded by Fred Seibert in 1997 with its first series launching in 1998. (Seibert resigned from Frederator in August 2020 after 22 years and on February 23, 2021 announced a new cartoon production company, FredFilms.) Skullmonkeys
''Skullmonkeys'' is a platform video game developed by The Neverhood, Inc. and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation. It is the sequel to ''The Neverhood'', and rather than being an adventure game, it is a platformer. Players again take control of Klaymen, who this time must defeat a horde of creatures called Skullmonkeys under the command of his old foe Klogg. Critics praised the game's unique visual style (as with ''The Neverhood'', the characters were all sculpted from clay) and music, but bemoaned the monotony and lack of innovation in the gameplay.
