Bjørn Erling Ytterhorn
Bjørn Erling Ytterhorn (17 August 1923 – 12 September 1987) was a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. He was born in Fana. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1981, and was re-elected on one occasion. Midway through his second term, he died in 1987 and was replaced by Hans J. Røsjorde. Ytterhorn was a member of the executive committee of Bergen city council in 1979–1983, and of Hordaland county council in 1975–1979 and 1979–1983. Progress Party (Norway)
The Progress Party ( nb, Fremskrittspartiet; nn, Framstegspartiet; se, Ovddádusbellodat), commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. The FrP has traditionally self-identified as classical-liberal and as a libertarian party but is generally positioned to the right of the Conservative Party, and is considered the most right-wing party to be represented in parliament. It is often described as moderately right-wing populist; this characterization has also been disputed in both academic and public discourse. Fana
Fana is a borough of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The borough makes up the southeastern part of the municipality of Bergen. The borough was once part of the historic municipality of Fana which was incorporated into Bergen in 1972. The old municipality was much larger than the present-day borough of Fana. It also included all of the present-day boroughs of Ytrebygda and Fyllingsdalen as well as the southern part of the present-day boroughs of Årstad. As of 1 January 2012, Fana had a population of 39,216. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Hordaland
Hordaland () was a county in Norway, bordering Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Telemark, and Rogaland counties. Hordaland was the third largest county, after Akershus and Oslo, by population. Bergen (), historically Bjørgvin, is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. , its population is roughly 285,900. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. Inger-Marie Ytterhorn (18 September 1941 – 30 March 2021) was a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. Political career Ytterhorn was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1989, but was not re-elected in 1993. She later served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1993–1997 and 1997–2001. Her husband Bjørn Erling Ytterhorn was also a member of the Norwegian Parliament.
