Björn Ranelid
Per Björn Sigvardson Ranelid (born 21 May 1949) is a Swedish author from Malmö. Since the beginning of his career in 1983, Ranelid has published twenty novels and written about five hundred articles in different magazines and newspapers. The author has also made numerous speeches throughout the years since his debut. He has been living in Stockholm since 1989. His works have been translated into French, English, German, Norwegian and Finnish. Biography Football career Ranelid played professional football for Malmö FF and Helsingborgs IF however only with limited appearances in each club's first team. He started as a youth player in Håkanstorps BK before moving to Malmö FF in his teenage years, Ranelid transferred to Helsingborgs IF in 1970. Musical career Ranelid took part in Melodifestivalen 2012 with "Mirakel". The lyrics are by Björn Ranelid himself and music by Fredrik Andersson. The song features Sara Li in vocals. Malmö
Malmö (, ; da, Malmø ) is the largest city in the Swedish county (län) of Scania (Skåne). Melodifestivalen 2012 is a Swedish song contest that was held between 4 February and 10 March 2012. It selected the fifty-second Swedish entry to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 (ESC 2012). As in the editions between 2009–2011, a maximum of eight people were allowed on stage, while only persons of 16 years or over are eligible. However, in accordance with Eurovision rules, only six people were allowed on stage for the Swedish entry at Eurovision. The main singer(s) were required to perform vocals live on stage. However, other backing vocals can be prerecorded, along with the song's backing track. On 20 June 2011, SVT announced an open call for Melodifestivalen 2012, with some changes in the rules. Sara Li
Sheelah (formerly known as Caracola) is a Swedish girl group originally launched in 2006 with members Frida Karlsson, Emma Lewin and Emilie Rosén and later Sara Li in 2009 as a replacement for Frida when she left Caracola. As of 2014, Caracola was relaunched with members Vendela Hollström, Ebba Knutsson and Sannah Johansson. They sing in harmonies as well as in chorus, and the style of their music varies between schlager pop and Ibiza-style trance, but a dance element is usually present. The name was changed from Caracola to Sheelah in 2009, after a disagreement with their earlier record label, who had the rights to the name Caracola.
