It was founded on 15 March 1936 as ''Bjerke AIL'', a team in Arbeidernes Idrettsforbund. It had a certain predecessor in ''Bjerke SK'', which existed from 1896 to 1935. Nannestad is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus in Viken (county), Viken Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Romerike. Akershus
Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. The Workers' Federation of Sports ( no, Arbeidernes Idrettsforbund), often just called the AIF, was a sporting organization in Norway between 1924 and 1946.Heinemann, Klaus. The Norwegian Second Division, also called 2. divisjon and often referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons, is the third-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. There are 28 teams divided into two groups, and at the end of the season the winner of each group earns promotion to the second-highest division, 1. divisjon. The teams finishing in second place in their respective group will qualify for the promotion play-offs, where they will face each other. The winner will play against the 14th placed team in 1. divisjon for promotion. In the 1998 2. divisjon, the third highest football league for men in Norway, 22 games were played in 8 groups, with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Liv/Fossekallen, Skjetten, Clausenengen and Lofoten were promoted to the First Division through playoffs against the other 4 group winners. Jørgen Neumann
Jørgen Neumann (born 2 January 1966) is a Norwegian football manager and former defender. Hailing from Råholt, he made his debut for Eidsvold Turn as a teenager. Spending almost his entire career in Eidsvold Turn, he achieved the club record of 295 appearances across all competitions. The record stood until 2007. In 1995 he took one season in Kongsvinger, playing 22 Eliteserien games. After a period as player-manager of Bjerke, which he led to promotion to the 1998 2. Divisjon, he took over Grindvoll IL in 2001 and guided them to promotion to the 2002 2. Divisjon. Following the immediate relegation he resigned. He eventually rejoined Eidsvold Turn as a part of the coaching team.
