Biscay Bay is a Local service district (Newfoundland and Labrador), local service district in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. At the time, Basque people, Basques were called "Biscayans", and the bay was used by the early Basque fishermen. Jackson, an English merchant, when Thomas Ryan of Trepassey, Newfoundland and Labrador, Trepassey (originally from Ireland) went to live there in that year. Biscayne Bay () is a lagoon with characteristics of an estuary located on the Atlantic coast of South Florida.
