Biringan City
Biringan is a mythical city that is said to invisibly lie between Gandara, Tarangnan, and Pagsanghan in Samar province of the Philippines. Legend The city is said to be located in the province of Samar. It is also designated as a barangay of Pagsanghan, Samar and Gandara, Samar. According to the local folklore, the population of Biringan comprises supernatural beings: the '' Engkantos'' ("enchanted beings"), and their progeny with the humans. The ''engkantos'' are described as shapechangers who can take human form. In their human form, they are said to lack a philtrum between their nose and lips. Engkanto
Engkanto (from Spanish '' encanto'', ) are mythical environmental spirits that are said to have the ability to appear in human form. They are often associated with the spirits of ancestors in the Philippines.* They are also characterized as spirit sorts like sirens, dark beings, elves, and more. Belief in their existence has likely existed for centuries, and continues to this day. It is a bracket term for enchanted human-like beings of the land which includes a variety of mythical races. San Jorge, Samar
San Jorge, officially the Municipality of San Jorge ( war, Bungto han San Jorge; tl, Bayan ng San Jorge), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 17,579 people. The town is famous for its Blanca Aurora Falls near Barangay Blanca Aurora along the Blanca Aurora river. Philtrum
The philtrum ( la, philtrum from Ancient Greek ''phíltron,'' lit. "love charm"), or medial cleft, is a vertical indentation in the middle area of the upper lip, common to therian mammals, extending in humans from the nasal septum to the tubercle of the upper lip.
