Biotrog
Biotrog was a character in the Filipino comics magazine ''Kick Fighter''. During the early 1990s, the video game Street Fighter was popular in the Philippines. A local publishing company (INFINITY) created a comics parody of the game entitled ''Kick Fighter''. Biotrog created by Jojo Ende Jr. and Gilbert Monsanto was one of the characters that appeared in this weekly comics magazine. Biotrog - Kick Fighter Biotrog is a cyborg vigilante that prowls the crime infested city that he is in. Haunted by the murder of his parents, Biotrog patrols against organized crime and other super-powered beings. Darna () is a Filipina superheroine created by writer Mars Ravelo and artist Nestor Redondo. The character's first appearance was in ''Pilipino Komiks'' (Ace Publications, Inc.) #77 on May 13, 1950. Darna is a retooling of Ravelo's earlier character, Varga, whose stories he wrote and illustrated himself. This character first appeared in ''Bulaklak Magazine'', Volume 4, #17 on July 23, 1947.
