Jason Bingham Agir is a Nauruan politician. Career On 12 January 2012, Agir was made a director on the Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation Board. Agir unsuccessfully ran in the 2013 parliamentary election. In the 2016 parliamentary election Agir was elected to represent the Buada Constituency. On 20 July, President Baron Waqa appointed Agir as assistant minister for Telecommunications & Media, Sports, and the Eigigu Holdings Corporation. Agir was re-elected in the 2019 election. On 28 August, President Lionel Aingimea appointed Agir as assistant minister for Land Management and the Eigigu Holdings Corporation. Agir was again re-elected in the 2022 election. Russ Joseph Kun (born 8 September 1975) is a Nauruan politician who has been president of Nauru since being elected in the 2022 presidential election. He has served as a member of parliament for Ubenide since 2013. Biography Kun was born on 8 September 1975. He served as a scrutineer for the 2003 and 2004 general elections. He served as acting Secretary for the Ministry of Commerce Industry & Resources in 2005. He served as acting Chief Secretary in 2008 and as acting Secretary of Home Affairs in 2012. Prior to entering Parliament, he worked for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Environment. David Waiau Adeang (born 24 November 1969) is a Nauruan politician, former Speaker of the Parliament of Nauru, and Nauru's Minister of Finance and Justice, as well as the Minister Assisting the President of Nauru. He is a founding member of the Naoero Amo (Nauru First Party), currently the only successful political party on the island. Background and early career David Adeang's father is Kennan Adeang, who served three times as President of Nauru. David Adeang began his political career as a lawyer. Delvin Oneil Thoma (born 8 February 1983) is a Nauruan politician. Career In the 2019 Nauruan parliamentary election, Thoma unsuccessfully ran for the Aiwo Constituency. Out of eight candidates, Thoma came in fourth. In the 2022 parliamentary election, Thoma was successfully elected to the Parliament of Nauru, alongside Rennier Gadabu, who won re-election. Nauru Museum
Nauru Museum or Naoero Museum is the national museum of the Republic of Nauru. Located in Yaren, the museum formally opened on 30 January 2019. History Based on a private collection of Second World War material, the museum was initially funded by the Nauru Phosphate Corporation. The museum closed in the 2000s due to disputes over land. 2022 Nauruan Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Nauru on 24 September 2022 to elect all 19 members of parliament. All candidates were elected on a non-partisan basis. Following the election, Russ Kun, a member of parliament for Ubenide, was elected president by parliament.
