Bina Basnett
Bina Basnett is an Indian politician in Sikkim and the president of Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP). Political career Bina Basnett completed her schooling in 2003 from Gangtok Deorali Girls SSS, she pursued her MBBS from SMIMS Tadong (CRH). After completing MBBS in 2009, she continued her Doctor of Medicine at SMIMS Gangtok in 2013 and later practiced and worked as a lecturer in Lady Hardinge Medical College New Delhi. On 31 May 2018, Bina Basnett joined Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) which was led by Bhaichung Bhutia. On the launching ceremony of HSP, she was elected to one of the 9 vice presidents of HSP. For about 8 months after the launching ceremony, the president of HSP was kept vacant. On January 24, 2019, vice president Bina Basnett was nominated to the 1st president of HSP. Ranipool
Ranipool is a small suburban town located in the bank of river Ranikhola at the junction of National Highway 10 and National Highway 717A in Gangtok District of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is 12 km before from Gangtok main town. It has three roads which lead to Singtam, Pakyong and Gangtok. It falls under the Gangtok Municipal Corporation. It is named after the Bridge which Connects the National highway to Gangtok and holds quite a significant role in traffic communications. Sikkim
Sikkim (; ) is a state in Northeastern India. Bhaichung Bhutia
Bhaichung Bhutia (born 15 December 1976), also spelled as Baichung Bhutia, is an Indian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Bhutia is considered as the torchbearer of Indian football in the international arena. He is often nicknamed the ''Sikkimese Sniper'' because of his shooting skills in football. Three-time Indian Player of the Year I. M. Vijayan described Bhutia as "God's gift to Indian football". History ADR came into existence in 1999 when a group of Professors from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and Bangalore filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) with the Delhi High Court regarding the disclosure of the criminal, financial and educational background of the candidates contesting elections. The PIL was upheld by the Delhi High Court in 2000, but the Government of India appealed to the Supreme Court of India against the High Court judgement. However, in 2002 and subsequently in 2003, the Supreme Court made it mandatory for all the candidates contesting elections to disclose their criminal, financial and educational background prior to the polls by filing an affidavit with the Election Commission of India.
