Bin-Qasim
Bin Qasim () is one of the six administrative subdivision of Malir District in Karachi, Pakistan, lying in the eastern part of the city, north of Port Qasim. It is headed by an Assistant Commissioner. Location Bin Qasim was located in the southeastern part of Karachi along the Arabian Sea and the Indus River delta. The town and the adjacent Port Qasim were named after Muhammad bin Qasim, the Arab general who conquered Sindh and Multan, establishing Islamic rule in the region in the eighth century CE. Bin Qasim was bordered by Gadap Town to the north, Thatta District and the Indus River to the east, the Arabian Sea to the south and the Malir River and the towns of Landhi, Malir, and Korangi Cantonment to the west. Malir District
Malir District () is an administrative district of Karachi Division in Sindh, Pakistan created in 1996 by bifurcation of Gulshan District, District Karachi East. According to the 2023 Pakistani census, District Malir had a population of 2,419,736 (2.4 million). History Malir is a Sindhi language, Sindhi word which means "greenery". Gadap Town () is an administrative subdivision of Malir District in the northwestern part of Karachi with the Hub River on its western limits also forming the provincial border between Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, while to the north and east are Jamshoro District and the Kirthar Mountains. The amended 2022 Local Election Act introduced by the Sindh government had notified the town system in Karachi. Ibrahim Hyderi Town () is a fishing village in the Malir District of Karachi, Pakistan. It was part of Bin Qasim Town, Bin Qasim, but in 2022 became one of the three towns under Malir District, the other two being Gadap Town and Malir Town.
