Bin Qasim () is one of the six administrative subdivision of Malir District in Karachi, Pakistan, lying in the eastern part of the city, north of Port Qasim. It is headed by an Assistant Commissioner. Location Bin Qasim was located in the southeastern part of Karachi along the Arabian Sea and the Indus River delta. The town and the adjacent Port Qasim were named after Muhammad bin Qasim, the Arab general who conquered Sindh and Multan, establishing Islamic rule in the region in the eighth century CE. Karachi, which is the most populated city in Pakistan, was a federation of eighteen autonomous boroughs, called "Towns," that made up the City District of Karachi from 2001 until 2011. Under this now-defunct system, Karachi had a local government system, with a mayor empowered to make decisions in regards to city-planning and administration of local services. Gadap Town
Gadap Town () is an administrative subdivision of Malir District in the northwestern part of Karachi with the Hub River on its western limits also forming the provincial border between Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, while to the north and east are Jamshoro District and the Kirthar Mountains. The amended 2022 Local Election Act introduced by the Sindh government had notified the town system in Karachi. Gadap Town, one of the three Towns of Malir District, comprises subdivision Gadap, Shah Mureed, Ibrahim Hyderi and parts of Bin-Qasim. Korangi Cantonment
Korangi Creek Cantonment or Korangi Cantonment () is a military cantonment in Korangi Town within Malir District of the city of Karachi, in Sindh, Pakistan. It serves as a military base and residential establishment. It was established by the British Colonial Army in the 19th-century British Raj and by Fort Wrigley. Currently, the former local seat of the British Wrigley-Pimley-McKerr family still stands. The cantonment was transferred to Pakistan Army after independence in 1947. The cantonment maintains its own infrastructure of water and electricity and is located outside the jurisdiction of the City District Government of Karachi. Ibrahim Hyderi Town () is a fishing village in the Malir District of Karachi, Pakistan. It was part of Bin Qasim Town, Bin Qasim, but in 2022 became one of the three towns under Malir District, the other two being Gadap Town and Malir Town.
