Billy McBryde
Billy McBryde (born 24 October 1996) is a Welsh rugby union player. A fly-half, although he has previously played centre too, he plays for the Doncaster Knights. His father is former Wales international hooker Robin McBryde. McBryde made his debut as an 18 year old for Llanelli, as a substitute against Cross Keys. A year and a half later, he made his Scarlets debut, as a substitute in Scarlets' 44-21 drubbing of Bath in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. He was selected in the Wales U20 for the 2016 Six Nations Under 20s Championship. His debut came in the opening game against Scotland U20. The Anglo-Welsh Cup (), was a cross-border rugby union knock-out cup competition that featured the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. It was a created as a replacement for the RFU Knockout Cup, which featured only English clubs. Scarlets Players
The Scarlets () are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup (which replaced the Heineken Cup from the 2014–15 season). The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season. Llanelli ("St Elli's Parish"; ) is a market town and the largest community in Carmarthenshire and the preserved county of Dyfed, Wales. 2016 World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The 2016 World Rugby Under 20 Championship was the ninth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised in England by rugby's governing body, World Rugby. Twelve nations took part in the tournament, which was held at two venues in Greater Manchester—AJ Bell Stadium in Salford and Manchester City Academy Stadium in Manchester. New Zealand went into the tournament as defending champions. The competition was won by hosts England. Scotland National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national under-20 rugby union team participates in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Their highest placement is 5th which they achieved in the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The U20 side also compete in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Both tournaments began in 2008 and replaced the Under 19 or Under 21 championships. The World Rugby Under 20 Championship was known as the IRB Junior World Championship up to 2014. Prior to this, there were U19 and U21 tournaments for the World Rugby Championship. There was also a U21 tournament for the Six Nations from 2004. The Under 20 side is now the pinnacle of Scottish Rugby's age-grade system.
