Billy Dorrell
William Dorrell (1872 – 1939) was an English professional association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Winger, winger. His son, Arthur Dorrell, played for Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa, Port Vale F.C., Port Vale, and England national football team, England. Career Dorrell was Scout (association football), scouted by Leicester City F.C., Leicester Fosse playing for Singer's F.C., Singer's and was Transfer (association football), transferred in 1892. He replaced Jimmy Atter on the left-wing, and impressed enough to win a £250 Transfer (association football), transfer move to Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa in May 1894.
