Bill Quay is a residential area in Gateshead, located around from Newcastle upon Tyne, from Sunderland, and from Durham. Tyne And Wear Metro
The Tyne and Wear Metro is an overground and underground light rail rapid transit system serving Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and the City of Sunderland (together forming Tyne and Wear). Kate Osborne
Kate Helen Osborne (born 18 June 1966) is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jarrow since 2019. Career Osborne worked for Royal Mail for 25 years. Her first foray into politics came in 2009, when she contested a by-election for Preston ward on North Tyneside Council, losing out to Conservative David Sarin. The following year, Osborne was elected to represent the ward at the 2010 local elections, gaining the seat from the Conservative incumbent. She was re-elected to represent Preston in 2014, and again in 2018. Osborne did not stand at the 2022 North Tyneside elections. She was elected to the House of Commons at the 2019 United Kingdom general election, representing Jarrow, a safe seat for Labour. Wrekenton is a residential area in Gateshead, located around from Newcastle upon Tyne, from Sunderland, and from Durham. In 2011, Census data for the Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council ward of ''High Fell'' recorded a total population of 6,110. Heworth Grange School
Heworth Grange School (formerly Heworth Grange Comprehensive School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Felling (near Gateshead) in Tyne and Wear, England. History In December 1998, a student died of brain damage following a playground fight. A 15-year-old was eventually acquitted of his manslaughter at Newcastle Crown Court. A memorial dedicated to pupils exists on the campus to remember them. There were proposals to merge the school with Thomas Hepburn Community School. however such plans were curbed in the early stages.
