Bill Dix
William C. Dix is a Republican politician and farmer from Shell Rock, Iowa. He was formerly the Majority Leader of the Iowa Senate representing Senate District 25, which covers Butler, Grundy, Hardin, and Story Counties. He served as the Chair of the Rules and Administration Senate Committee. He resigned from the Iowa Senate on March 12, 2018, following the release of video footage showing Dix, who is married with three children, kissing a lobbyist at a bar in Des Moines, Iowa. Daryl Beall
Daryl Beall (born December 11, 1946) is an American politician. He was the Iowa State Senator from the 5th District. A Democrat, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2003 to 2015, in Iowa Senate district 25 before Iowa's 2012 redistricting. He received his A.A. from Iowa Central Community College, his B.A. from Buena Vista University, and his MPA from Drake University. Beall served on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Economic Growth committee; the Education committee; the Local Government committee, where he is vice chair; the Transportation committee, where he is vice chair; and the Veterans Affairs committee, where he is chair. Grundy County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. At the 2020 census, the population was 12,329. The county seat is Grundy Center. The county is named for Felix Grundy, former U.S. Attorney General. Grundy County is included in the Waterloo- Cedar Falls, IA Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Grundy County was formed on January 15, 1851, and became self-governing in 1856. James Allen Nussle (born June 27, 1960) is an American businessman and retired politician who has been president and chief executive officer of the Credit Union National Association since 2014. Nussle served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1991 to 2007 and was the Republican nominee for the 2006 Iowa gubernatorial election, losing to Democrat Chet Culver. The Iowa House of Representatives is the lower house of the Iowa General Assembly, the upper house being the Iowa Senate. There are 100 seats in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state, formed by dividing the 50 Senate districts in half.
