Bill Carroll (broadcaster)
Bill Carroll is a Canadian radio personality who has hosted talk radio shows in both Canada and the United States. He has been the host of The Morning Rush with Bill Carroll on CFRA in Ottawa since March 7, 2016. Biography Carroll was born in Scotland on July 29, 1959 and grew up in Coatbridge near Glasgow. He came with his family to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the late 1960s. The family first lived in Don Mills in an apartment (later in a townhouse in Scarborough, Toronto, Scarborough), where he attended Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute, a few years before Mike Myers (actor), Mike Myers. Bill married Sylvie LaPointe in July 2003. They have two children, Killian and Magalie. Like Bill's father, Magalie was born with spina bifida. Bill has cited as one of the reasons for his relocation to California was to be closer to Ramon Cuevas, a physical therapist who had worked with Magalie. Dan Gallagher
Dan Gallagher (May 14, 1957 – January 20, 2001) was a Canadian broadcaster, best known for hosting the game show ''Test Pattern'' on MuchMusic between 1989 and 1991. Also in the 1980s, he appeared on the Canadian music channel MuchMusic as a VJ and host of the '' Pepsi Power Hour''. Gallagher later hosted the CBC Television music video program '' Video Hits'' from 1991 to 1993. Standard Radio
Slaight Communications is a Canadian radio broadcasting company. The company was formed as Slaight Broadcasting in 1971, when owner J. Allan Slaight acquired CFGM in Richmond Hill. Slaight later also acquired CFOX in Montreal and CHOK in Sarnia, and launched CILQ in Toronto. The company later sold off all of its original assets, and continued to operate its radio holdings through the Standard Broadcasting division after Slaight bought out that company in 1985. As Standard, it remained the largest privately owned multimedia company in Canada until it sold its radio and TV broadcasting assets to Astral Media in 2007. Wally Crouter
Wallace Clarence "Wally" Crouter (August 5, 1923 – March 28, 2016) was a Canadian radio broadcaster best known for his career at CFRB radio in Toronto, spanning half a century, most of which was spent as the station's top-rated morning man. Early years Crouter was born and raised in Lindsay, Ontario and made his debut radio broadcast on Toronto radio station CKGW in 1932 as a nine-year-old, award-winning 'boy soprano'. Crouter served in the Canadian Army in World War II with the Army Show radio, with postings in Britain, Rome, Paris and North Africa. He spent a year in hospital recovering from shrapnel wounds. Ted Woloshyn (born December 1953) is a Toronto broadcaster. He hosted ''The Ted Woloshyn Show'', mornings from 5:30 to 8:30 on CFRB-AM in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from 3 November 1996 until 15 December 2006. CFRB (1010 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is owned by Bell Media and carries a News/Talk radio format. Its studios and offices are in the Entertainment District at 250 Richmond Street West. CFRB is a clear channel station powered at 50,000 watts, the maximum permitted in Canada.
