Bilal Başaçıkoğlu
Bilal Başaçıkoğlu (born 26 March 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Turkish club Tuzlaspor. He formerly played for SC Heerenveen, Feyenoord and Kayserispor. Born in the Netherlands, he represented Turkey at under-21 international level. International career Başaçıkoğlu was born in the Netherlands to a Turkish father and a Moroccan mother. Initially, he represented the Netherlands as a youth. But in 2014, he decided to represent the home country of his father, Turkey, at international level for whom he played in their youth national teams afterwards. 2017 Johan Cruyff Shield
The 2017 Johan Cruyff Shield was the 22nd edition of the Johan Cruyff Shield ( nl, Johan Cruijff Schaal), an annual Dutch football match played between the winners of the previous season's Eredivisie and KNVB Cup. The match was contested by Feyenoord, champions of the 2016–17 Eredivisie, and Vitesse, winners of the 2016–17 KNVB Cup. It was held at the De Kuip in Rotterdam on 5 August 2017. Feyenoord won the match 4–2 on penalties, following a 1–1 draw at the end of regulation. It was the first time that the Johan Cruyff Shield was decided by a penalty shoot-out. For the first time, the Johan Cruyff Shield was played at the stadium of the previous season's Eredivisie winner, instead of the default Amsterdam Arena. Johan Cruijff Shield
The Johan Cruyff Shield (, ) is a football trophy in the Netherlands named after Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff, also often referred to as the Dutch Super Cup. The winner is decided in one match only, played by the winner of the national football league, Eredivisie, and the winner of the national KNVB Cup. In the event of a team winning both the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield will be contested between that team and the runner up in the national league. The 2017–18 KNVB Cup was the 100th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It commenced on 19 September 2017 with the first of six rounds and concluded on 22 April 2018 with the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam.
