Bigg Boss (Bangla Season 1)
''Bigg Boss Bangla 1'' is the first season of the Bengali version of the Indian reality show ''Bigg Boss''. It premiered on ETV Bangla on 17 June 2013. Mithun Chakraborty was the host for the season. The Grand Finale aired on 14 September 2013 where Aneek Dhar emerged as the winner and Rudranil Ghosh emerged as the runner-up. Mithun Chakraborthy
Mithun Chakraborty (born Gouranga Chakraborty; 16 June 1950) is an Indian actor, producer and politician who predominantly worked in Hindi and Bengali language films. He is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is the recipient of three National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for his acting performance. Chakraborty made his acting debut with the art house drama ''Mrigayaa'' (1976), for which he won his first National Film Award for Best Actor. Aneek Dhar
Aneek Dhar (born 26 April 1990 in Kolkata) is an Indian singer who started his musical career at the age of 17 winning Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa both in the same year. He also was the winner of Bigg Boss Bangla Season 1. Dhar has been performing with his band since then in India as well as abroad. In 2018, Dhar started his career as a music composer mainly for his music videos, web series and films. Rudranil Ghosh is an Indian actor who works primarily in Bengali films. Education Rudranil Ghosh completed his early education at Santragachi Kedarnath Institution, Howrah under West Bengal State Board. Colors Bangla, previously known as ETV Bangla, is an Indian general entertainment pay television channel broadcasting in Bengali language. It was launched in 2000 as ETV Bangla, owned by the Hyderabad-based ETV Network. It was later sold to TV18 and was rebranded under the Colors moniker. Bigg Boss Bangla
''Bigg Boss'' (or colloquially ''Bigg Boss Bangla'') was the Bengali-language version of the reality TV programme Bigg Boss broadcast in India. It follows the '' Big Brother'' format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. The show had completed 2 seasons in 4 years. The first season launched on 17 June 2013 and second season was launched on 4 April 2016. However the show has been discontinued after season 2 but a leading Bengali TV channel is planning to launch its new season and discussion about copyright issues is still on and show makers are yet to finalise it.
