Biathlon At The 2010 Winter Olympics – Women's Individual
The Women's 15 kilometre individual biathlon competition of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics was held at Whistler Olympic Park in Whistler, British Columbia on 18 February 2010. Results Teja Gregorin was the only competitor who failed the 2017 doping retests from the 2010 Winter Olympics. In October 2017, the International Biathlon Union said that her two samples tested positive for GHRP-2, a banned substance which stimulates the body to produce more growth hormone, in samples taken the week before competition started. She was disqualified in December 2017. Whistler Olympic Park
The Whistler Olympic Park is the location of the Nordic events facilities for the 2010 Winter Olympics and is located in the Madeley Creek basin in the Callaghan Valley, west of Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Lanny Barnes (born April 26, 1982) is an American biathlete who has been competing since 2004. Her best World Cup finish was 15th in an individual event in Sweden in 2006. Barnes' best finish at the Biathlon World Championships was 39th in the pursuit event at Pyeongchang in 2009. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Barnes finished 64th in the individual event. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, she finished 78th in the 7.5 km sprint event. Barnes was named to the 2014 Winter Olympics on January 12, 2014. Vita Semerenko ( uk, Віта Олександрівна Семеренко; born 18 January 1986) is a Ukrainian biathlete. She is Olympic champion in women's relay, Olympic medalist and multiple World championships medalist. She is one of the most successful Ukrainian winter athletes. Olga Valeryevna Medvedtseva (russian: Ольга Валерьевна Медведцева), former Pyleva (russian: Пылёва), née Zamorozova (russian: Заморозова), (born 7 July 1975) is a former Russian biathlete. Andreja Mali (born November 17, 1977, in Kamnik, SFR Yugoslavia) is a former Slovenian biathlete and former cross-country skier. Career Mali competes for the club TSK Jub Dob Pri Ljubljani and has been part of the Slovenian national biathlon team since 2000. The instructor in the army of Kamnik made her Biathlon World Cup debut in 2001.
