Dorothea Wierer
Dorothea Wierer (, ; born 3 April 1990) is an Italian biathlete competing in the Biathlon World Cup. Together with Karin Oberhofer, Dominik Windisch and Lukas Hofer she won a bronze medal in the Mixed relay at the 2014 Winter Olympics, in Sochi, Russia. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea she won again the bronze medal in the Mixed relay with Lisa Vittozzi, Lukas Hofer and Dominik Windisch. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, she won her first individual medal in the Sprint. She is the 2019 Mass Start World Champion and the 2020 Pursuit and Individual World Champion. Oberhof, Germany
Oberhof is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district of Thuringia, Germany. Located in the Thuringian Forest mountain range, it is a winter sports center and health resort. With 1,625 inhabitants (December 2016), it is visited by 144,000 tourists every year (2016). The town obtained its official city status in 1985. History Oberhof was first mentioned in a document in 1470. The village in the Black Forest department belonged to various Ernestine duchies, most recently to the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha from 1826 to 1918. In 1830, Ernest I, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha had a hunting lodge built. In 1861 the first vacation guests came to the village. With the completion of the Brandleite Tunnel of the Neudietendorf-Ritschenhausen railway, Oberhof received a railroad connection in 1884, which enabled the expansion of tourism. Denise Herrmann-Wick
Denise Herrmann-Wick (née Herrmann, born 20 December 1988) is a former German biathlete and cross-country skier. She won gold at 2022 Winter Olympics – Women's individual, won gold at Biathlon World Championships 2019 – Women's pursuit and won gold at Biathlon World Championships 2023 – Women's sprint. Previously, she has competed in FIS Cross-Country World Cup since 2009. Herrmann has won several medals at the World Cup events. In April 2016, she announced that she would switch to competing in biathlon for the following season, although in an interview in November of that year, she did not rule out competing in cross-country skiing in the future. Elvira Karin Öberg (born 26 February 1999) is a Swedish Biathlon, biathlete. She is the younger sister of Olympic champion Hanna Öberg. Elvira won three gold medals in the youth category at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2018, 2018 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Otepää; in the 10 km Biathlon#Individual, individual, the 3 × 6 km Biathlon#Relay, relay and the 6 km Biathlon#Sprint, sprint respectively. Hannah Auchentaller (born 28 March 2001) is an Italian biathlete. She competes in the Biathlon World Cup, Auchentaller has won a gold medal in 4 × 6 km team relay event at the Biathlon World Championships 2023 in Oberhof, Germany. Samuela Comola (born 30 April 1998 in Aosta) is an Italian biathlete. Comola started her biathlon career in 2009. In 2016 she competed at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. She also participated at the 2017 IBU Youth World Championships. Comola made her debut race in the World Cup during the 2021–22 Biathlon World Cup season (on November 27, 2021) in Östersund (64th in the individual).
