Simone Hauswald
Simone Hye-Soon Hauswald (born Simone Hye-Soon Denkinger; 3 May 1979) is a former German biathlete and Winter Olympics bronze medalist. In 2008, she won her first single World Cup Race. Hauswald retired after the 2009–10 season. Biography Hauswald was born to a German father and Korean mother. As a teenager she trained at the Skiinternat Furtwangen, an alpine sports training facility in Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, and met her coach and future husband, former skier Steffen Hauswald. Andriy Vasylovych Deryzemlya ( uk, Андрій Васильович Дериземля; born 18 August 1977) is a former Ukrainian biathlete who competed at the top level for eleven seasons before winning his first international medal, a bronze medal at the 2007 World Championship. In 2008 together with Oksana Khvostenko he won World Team Challenge. Deryzemlya retired from the sport after the end of the 2013–14 season, starting a political career. In the 2014 parliamentary election Deryzemlya took part at the single-mandate district No. 205 in Chernihiv Oblast and failed them having finished second with 14.1% of votes. Before that he had founded the Centre for Support of Army in August 2014. Oksana Khvostenko ( uk, Оксана Хвостенко) (born November 27, 1977 in Chernihiv) is a Ukrainian biathlete. She is a multiple medalist at the World Championships. In 2008 together with Andriy Deryzemlya she won World Team Challenge. Anti-doping rule violation Khvostenko tested positive for ephedrine at a post event doping control at the Biathlon World Championships 2011 where the Ukrainian team had finished second in the Women's Relay. The team was later disqualified because of the anti-doping rule violation and Khyostenko received a one-year ban from sport, commencing on 13 March 2011. Sandrine Bailly (born 25 November 1979 in Belley, Ain) is a former French biathlete. She was most successful in the 2004–05 season, when she won the overall World Cup, and in the 2007–08 season, when she finished second.
