Biassono
Biassono ( Brianzöö: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan. Biassono borders the following municipalities: Lesmo, Arcore, Macherio, Lissone, Monza, Vedano al Lambro, Villasanta. Biassono is noteworthy because of its location situated to the northwest of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, constructed in the park of Monza's Royal Villa. It opened in 1922, making it the oldest Grand Prix venue that the FIA Formula One World Championship still uses for the annual Gran Premio d'Italia. Arcore ( lmo, Arcor) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan. Arcore borders the following municipalities: Usmate Velate, Camparada, Lesmo, Biassono, Vimercate, Villasanta, Concorezzo. History The origin of the city is not clear: by the etymology of the name, it's probably datable during the Roman Empire. Minusio
Minusio is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. History In the Ceresole section, a significant Iron Age necropolis (c. 6th-5th century BC) was discovered. It held about 20 graves and rich grave goods. Nearby, several Roman graveyards from the 1st and 2nd Centuries AD, were discovered. The Roman graveyards are among the most important in Ticino because of the complexity of the system and the amount of material. A discovery in 1936 found about 30 graves. In the Roman era, Minusio was a minor settlement outside of Muralto, which was the center of the Roman presence in the Locarno area.
