Bharat Mani Paudel () is a Nepali standup comedian. He was born in the Fungling municipality of Taplejung, Nepal. He was a winner of Comedy Champion Season 2. Bharat was born in Fungling municipality, Taplejung, as the eldest child of Shiva Prasad Paudel and Devi Paudel. The Paudel family belongs to the middle class and runs a coffee shop in Taplejung district, Nepal. He developed a keen interest in comedy at a young age and used to do mimicry of famous comedians, actors, and politicians. He is the eldest child in his family. Taplejung District ( ne, ताप्लेजुङ जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts of Nepal and one of the 14 districts of Province No. 1. It is remotely located in the Himalayas in Eastern Nepal with Tibet to the north across the Himalayas. Taplejung is the third largest district (by area) of Nepal. Comedy Champion is a Nepali stand-up comedy reality show which started airing on Kantipur Television and OSR Reality channel on YouTube since 2020. It is the first comedy reality show in Nepal. The show features emerging standup comedians from different parts of Nepal. The show primarily has standalone comedic appearances of the contestants, with some episodes of a pairing performances. The show is created by OSR Reality, one of the leading reality show production company in Nepal.
