''Beyond the Pale'' is the second studio album by American singer Fiona. It was originally released in 1986 through Atlantic Records on vinyl and cassette only; a CD edition was reissued in 2004 through Wounded Bird Records, followed by a remaster in 2014 through Rock Candy Records. Fiona Eileen Flanagan (born September 13, 1961), known professionally as Fiona, is an American rock singer and actress, best known as the love interest in the 1987 Bob Dylan vehicle ''Hearts of Fire''. Career Fiona was born on September 13, 1961 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey after her parents moved from Dublin, Ireland to the U.S. At the age of 18, she moved to New York City, where she began her career as a singer in several bands. In the mid-1980s, she was signed to Atlantic Records. Her self-titled debut studio album was released in 1985. In music, an arrangement is a musical adaptation of an existing composition. Differences from the original composition may include reharmonization, melodic paraphrasing, orchestration, or formal development. Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. These musical sounds are created through the use of music coding languages. There are many music coding languages of varying complexity. Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr. (born September 19, 1952) is an American musician, record producer and composer. Reb Beach
Richard Earl "Reb" Beach Jr. (born August 31, 1963) is an American rock guitarist. He is a member of the bands Winger and Whitesnake. Career After graduating from Fox Chapel Area High School and attending Berklee College of Music in the early 1980s, he played in Fiona's backing band and became an accomplished studio musician, working with the likes of Howard Jones, Chaka Khan, The Bee Gees, Twisted Sister, and Roger Daltrey, among others, showcasing Beach's ability to adapt to various musical styles. While working with Fiona, he was introduced to Kip Winger, who was touring with Alice Cooper at the time. Eventually they formed the band Sahara along with Rod Morgenstein and Paul Taylor, which was later renamed to Winger. Michael Chetwynd Slamer is a British guitarist. Biography Slamer started his career playing in the UK prog-rock band City Boy. Since then, he has worked as a staff composer for various movies and TV series, has been a session guitarist for numerous recording artists, and played in several bands. He provided the guitar solos on Warrant's first two albums, ''Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich'' and '' Cherry Pie''. He also contributed two solos on a Kix record. The songs were “Scarlet Fever” and “Walking Away.” He at different times cooperated with two members of the progressive rock band Kansas. James Andrew House (born March 22, 1955) is an American country music artist. Originally a member of a group called the House Band, he recorded a solo rock album in 1983 on Atlantic Records before he began his country music career in 1989 on MCA Records, recording two albums for that label.
