Beverley Park is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Beverley Park is located 15 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district, in the Georges River Council and is part of the St George area. Beverley Park is surrounded by the suburbs Kogarah Bay, Carlton, Kogarah, Ramsgate and Sans Souci. It is a predominantly residential area around a large recreational area, Beverley Park Golf Course. It has a few commercial developments scattered along its borders on the Princes Highway and Rocky Point Road. History Beverley Park and Kogarah Bay were originally part of the suburb of Kogarah. The Dictionary of Sydney is a digital humanities project to produce an online, expert-written encyclopedia of all aspects of the history of Sydney. St George Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL. 2016 Australian Census
The 2016 Australian census was the 17th national population census held in Australia. The census was officially conducted with effect on Tuesday, 9 August 2016. The total population of the Commonwealth of Australia was counted as – an increase of 8.8 per cent or people over the .
