Bev is a canned wine supplier based in Venice, California. The company was founded in 2017 by Alix Peabody. History Bev was founded in 2017 by Alix Peabody, who had worked at hedge fund Bridgewater Associates, and began fundraising for medical bills by hosting ticketed parties. The experience inspired her to start a wine supply company, that marketed canned wine spritzers to women. She used her business connections to find a supplier of rosé. The company later began selling other types of canned wine. The wine was initially marketed online.
