Betong Airport
Betong International Airport ( Thai: ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติเบตง) ( IATA: BTZ, ICAO: VTSY) is a domestic airport serving the town of Betong and Yala province in Thailand. The airport is east of Betong, southeast from Yala city and via the Malaysian border. The airport covers an area of 1.47 million sq.m. (15,800,000 sq.ft.) History Construction In 2015, the Department of Airports gave a proposal to the Government of Thailand for an airport in Yala province. The airport will help to boost tourism, revenue, employment and spur the overall socio-economic development of the region.
