Bertil Fiskesjö
Bertil Fiskesjö (9 July 1928 – 30 November 2019) was a Swedish politician and a member of the Centre Party. Fiskesjö was born in Algutsboda, studied at Lund University, and became a university lecturer in political science. He was a member of the Riksdag from 1971 to 1994. Centre Party (Sweden)
The Centre Party ( , C) is a liberal political party in Sweden, founded in 1913. The party focuses on the national economy, the environment, political decentralisation and social integration. It is represented in all of the Riksdag's parliamentary committees, currently holding 24 seats. From 2019 to 2021, it provided confidence and supply to the Löfven II cabinet. Traditionally part of the Nordic agrarian family of political parties, the Centre Party has increasingly switched focus towards economic liberalism, environmental protection, equality of the sexes and decentralisation of governmental authority. Algutsboda, Sweden
Algutsboda is a community in Algutsboda District, Kalmar County, Sweden. Author Vilhelm Moberg (1898–1973) was born and grew up in Algutsboda, which is in the region called Småland. In the mid-20th century, Algutsboda had a shop, bank, post office, telephone and telegraph station, school and municipal office. Today in the 21st century, in addition to private housing, only the church, the parish house, the retirement home and the local history museum remain. In the local history museum, old artifacts from the farming community have been preserved. Visitors can also see a collection of clothes and sewing. Third Deputy Speaker Of The Riksdag
The speaker of the Riksdag is assisted by three deputy speakers who are also elected by a vote in the chamber. Traditionally, the second, third and fourth largest parties gets to name one of their members for these offices.
