Bernard King (basketball, Born 1981)
Victor Bernard King Jr. (born July 24, 1981) is an American professional basketball player for UJAP Quimper 29 of the LNB Pro B. He played college basketball for Texas A&M University. King holds numerous Big 12 Conference and Texas A&M records. King left A&M as the top scorer in Big 12 conference history, as well as third in the league for all-time career assists. He led the Aggies in scoring and assists in all four of his seasons, and ranks among Texas A&M's all-time leaders in points (first), three-point field goals made (first), and assists (second). Early years Bernard King was born in Gibsland, Louisiana, the son of Victor King, a former Louisiana Tech basketball player and second-round NBA draft pick by the Los Angeles Lakers from Newellton, Louisiana and Vernita King. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Victor King
Victor Bernard King (born July 16, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He played collegiately for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, where he was a four-year starter and two-time All-Southland Conference selection during his final two seasons. He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 39th overall pick in the 1979 NBA draft but never played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). King played for the Maine Lumberjacks of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) during the 1980–81 season. He played alongside fellow 1979 draftee Andrew Fields for the Toyota Super Diesels of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) during the 1981 season, winning the Open Conference championship.
