Berke Saka
Berke Saka (born 9 July 2003) is a Turkish male swimmer competing in the backstroke event. Career Saka is a member of Galatasaray Swimming. He broke the 13-years old national record of Derya Büyükuncu in the 200 m backstroke event with 1:58.08. He set a national record in the 200 metres individual medley event for 17-18 age class with 2:01.58 at the 2020 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. He won the silver medal in the 200 m backstroke event with 2:01.62 and the bronze medal in the 200 m individual medley event with 2:03.25 at the 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Baku, Azerbaycan. He won the gold medal in the 200 m individual medley, the silver medal in the 200 m backstroke event of the 2021 European Junior Swimming Championships in Rome, Italy. Derya Büyükuncu
Derya Büyükuncu (; born 2 July 1976) is a six-time Olympic backstroke and butterfly swimmer from Turkey. The tall athlete at is a member of Galatasaray Swimming. His coach is Zehra Büyükuncu. He participated in six consecutive Summer Olympic Games: 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing, 2012 London. He is one of the first two (together with Lars Frölander) swimmers to participate in six Olympic Games. Early years At the age of nine, Büyükuncu became a national swimmer, and won a bronze medal in the 12-year-age category at the 1985 Balkan Swimming Championships held in Bulgaria. At the 1987 Balkan Championships held in Izmir, he won five gold medals. He repeated his five-fold gold medal performance at the 1989 Balkan Championships in Greece. Merve Tuncel (born 1 January 2005) is a Turkish swimmer specialized in the freestyle swimming. She qualified for the 800m and 1500m freestyle events of the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is a member of Enka SK. Early years Merve Tuncel was born to Sulhi and Adalet Tuncel in Ankara, Turkey on 1 January 2005.
