Berdychi
Berdychi ( uk, Бердичі) is a village (a '' selo'') in the Pokrovsk Raion ( district) of Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. Until 18 July 2020, Berdychi belonged to Yasynuvata Raion. The raion was abolished that day as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Donetsk Oblast to eight, of which only five were controlled by the government. The government-controlled area of Yasynuvata Raion was merged into Pokrovsk Raion. Oleksandr Oleksiyovych Lukyanchenko ( uk, Олександр Олексійович Лук'янченко, russian: Александр Алексеевич Лукьянченко; born 30 August 1947) is the former mayor of Donetsk city, in Ukraine. Life He was born to a Russian-speaking Ukrainian family in the village of Berdychi, in Donetsk Oblast. He attended primary school in the village of his birth, and secondary school in Avdiivka. In 1962, he entered the Makiivka Civil Engineering Institute, and then served in a tank corps in the Soviet Army. After his service in the army, he worked as a chief engineer at multiple factories in Donetsk. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, he became vice-president of the city administration in Donetsk city on 27 November 1992. Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. Raions were created in a 1922 administrative reform of the Soviet Union, to which Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, belonged. Russian is the most common first language in the Donbas and Crimea regions of Ukraine and the city of Kharkiv, and the predominant language in large cities in the eastern and southern portions of the country. Yasynuvata Raion
Yasynuvata Raion ( uk, Ясинуватський район, ) was one of the administrative raions (a ''district'') of Donetsk Oblast, located in southeastern Ukraine. The administrative center of the district was the city of Yasynuvata, which was incorporated separately as a city of oblast significance and did not belong to the districts jurisdiction. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Donetsk Oblast to eight, of which only five were controlled by the government. The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. An oblast ( uk, о́бласть; ) in Ukraine, often called a region or province, is the main type of first-level administrative division of the country. Ukraine's territory is divided into 24 oblasts, as well as one autonomous republic, Crimea, and two cities with special status, Kyiv and Sevastopol. Ukraine is a unitary state, thus the oblasts do not have much legal scope of competence other than that which is established in the Ukrainian Constitution and by law.
