Beovizija 2006
Serbia and Montenegro originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. The union of public broadcasters of Serbia and Montenegro, Udruženje javnih radija i televizija (UJRT) organised the national final ''Evropesma-Europjesma 2006'' in order to select the Serbian and Montenegrin entry for the 2006 contest in Athens, Greece. The Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), and the Montenegrin broadcaster Radio i televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) each submitted twelve entries from their respective selections ''Beovizija 2006'' and ''Montevizija 2006'' with twenty-four entries in total competing in the national final on 11 March 2006. Eurovision Song Contest 2006
The Eurovision Song Contest 2006 was the 51st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Athens, Greece, following the country's victory at the with the song "My Number One" by Helena Paparizou. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), the contest was held at the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall, and consisted of a semi-final on 18 May, and a final on 20 May 2006. The two live shows were presented by American television personality Maria Menounos and Greek former contestant Sakis Rouvas. Thirty-seven countries participated in the contest. Podgorica (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; Literal translation, lit. 'under the hill') is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. Tijana Dapčević (; mk, Тијана Дапчевиќ, , sr-cyr, Тијана Дапчевић, , ; born 3 February 1976) is a Macedonian-Serbian pop singer. Marija Nikolić ( sr, Маја Николић, born 11 April 1975 in Niš, Serbia, Yugoslavia), better known as Maja Nikolić, is a Serbian singer and reality television personality. Sava Centar ( sr, Сава центар) is an international congress, cultural and business centre of various multi-functional activities located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. ''Beovizija'' ( sr, Беовизија) was a music festival established in 2003. Since 2007 it was the national selection for Serbia's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest. ''Beovizija'' is organised and broadcast live each year by RTS1, on RTRS in Bosnia, and internationally on Eurovision.tv and RTS SAT as of 2008. Stefan Filipović (Serbian Cyrillic: Стефан Филиповић) (born January 18, 1987) is a Montenegrin pop singer. Biography Filipović was born in Titograd, now Podgorica, and studied in the Cetinje Music Academy. He started singing at age seven and he took part in various festivals in Montenegro and abroad. Nina Žižić (born 20 April 1985) is a Montenegrin singer. RTCG announced in December 2012 that Who See would represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 held in Malmö together with a "secret artist" which was Nina. Stevan Faddy ( cnr, Стеван Фeди, Stevan Fedi; born 2 September 1986, in Kotor) is a Montenegrin musician. He took part in Montevizija 2005, with "Utjeha". He also participated in Sunčane Skale 2003 singing "Poslednja obala". On 25 February 2007, he won a landslide victory in MontenegroSong 2007 with his song " Ajde Kroči" and won a ticket to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 held in Helsinki, Finland.
