Bent Svele
Bent Svele (born 26 February 1962) is a Norwegian former handball player, coach and sports reporter. Biography Born on 26 February 1962, Svele represented the club IF Urædd, with which he won the Norwegian league in 1985, 1988 and 1992, and the Norwegian cup in 1987. He was selected player of the year in the Norwegian league in 1984, 1988 and 1992. During his career, he also played for the clubs Holmestrand IF, Nøtterøy IF, CD Cajamadrid, Málaga and Kristiansands IF, and he coached the club Stavanger IF. He made his debut on the Norwegian national team in 1983, and played 116 matches and scored 343 goals for the national team between 1983 and 1989. Svele has been sports commentator for the television channel TV 2 Norway since 2000, covering handball events as expert along with reporter Harald Bredeli. CD Cajamadrid
Club Deportivo Cajamadrid was a professional basketball and handball team in Spain. It was founded in 1979 and the basketball team played in Liga ACB from 1983 to 1986 and participated in the Korac Cup during the 1984-85 season. Gladiators (franchise)
''Gladiators'' is a sports entertainment television show that was an international success during the 1990s and early 2000s with versions of the show being filmed for local broadcasters in the United States, the United Kingdom, Finland, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Nigeria, and Denmark. However, Russia, Germany, South Korea and the Bahamas would also compete in international shows during the series, despite the fact that they did not have their own domestic series. After a lengthy break, ''Gladiators'' was revived in 2008 in the UK, the US and Australia; in 2009 Lebanon created their own series featuring competitors from all over the Arab region and in 2012 Sweden brought back their version which proved most successful of all revivals, with another revival airing in Finland during 2017 and 2019. A color commentator or expert commentator is a sports commentator who assists the main (play-by-play) commentator, typically by filling in when play is not in progress. The phrase "colour commentator" is primarily used in Canadian English and the phrase "color commentator" is now rarely used in American English as the role is now more commonly known in the USA as "game analyst" or "match analyst". The person may also be referred to as a summariser (outside North America) or analyst (a term used throughout the English-speaking world). The color analyst and main commentator will often exchange comments freely throughout the broadcast, when the main commentator is not describing the action. The color commentator provides expert analysis and background information, such as statistics, strategy, and injury reports on the teams and athletes, and occasionally anecdotes or light humor.
