Club Deportivo Cajamadrid was a professional basketball and handball team in Spain. It was founded in 1979 and the basketball team played in Liga ACB from 1983 to 1986 and participated in the Korac Cup during the 1984-85 season. The club was sponsored by Caja Madrid until 1991, when the bank decided to retire its support and continued as a different club called Juventud Alcalá.Juventud Alcalá: varias historias, un mismo club

Gregory Hilko Wiltjer (born November 26, 1960) is a Canadian former professional basketball player. At a height of six feet, eleven inches (2.11 m) tall, he played at the centre position. He played in several important tournaments for the senior Canadian national basketball team, including the 1984 Summer Olympics. Robert George Thornton (born July 10, 1962) is an American basketball coach and former player who played nine seasons in the NBA. He last served as the lead assistant coach for the Perth Wildcats in the Australian NBL. Thornton played college basketball at University of California, Irvine and Saddleback Community College, and was selected by the New York Knicks with the 87th pick of the 1984 NBA draft. Thornton played for five NBA teams (New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards) and averaged 3.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 283 total games. Norris James Coleman (born September 27, 1961) is an American retired professional basketball player who was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round (38th pick overall) of the 1987 NBA draft. A 6'8" forward from Kansas State University, Coleman played in only one National Basketball Association (NBA) season. Coleman played for the Clippers during the 1987–88 season, appearing in 29 games and scoring a total of 153 points.
