Benoni Aubert
Benoni Aubert ( 4 August 1768 – 21 April 1832) was a Norwegian military officer born in Denmark. Biography He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. His parents were Major General Jacques Xavier Aubert (1727-1793) and Julane Cathrine Bang (1748-1834). His father was born in France and emigrated to Denmark in 1752 to take up a career in the Royal Danish Army. After graduating at the Royal Danish Military Academy in Copenhagen, he became an officer in 1784 and Major from 1818. He served as Chief of Engineering in Kronborg from 1806 to 1810. From 1811–17, he was a commander at Kongsvinger Fortress and Blaker Fortress in Norway. In 1814, he was also Chief of the Engineer Regiment. From 1822 to 1823, he was the chief of the Norwegian Military Academy. Benoni Beheyt (born 27 September 1940) is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer who raced from 1962 to 1968. Beheyt won 22 races and is most famous for winning the 1963 UCI Road World Championships – Men's road race, World Cycling Championships Road Race and stage win of the 1964 Tour de France. Benoni Danks
Benoni Danks ( 1716 – 1776) was a New England soldier and politician who acted as the representative of Cumberland County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1765 to 1770. He is best known as the commander of Danks' Rangers, a unit which operated during the French and Indian War against the French. Biography Benoni Danks was born in Northampton, Massachusetts, the son of Robert Danks and Rebecca Rust. In 1745, he married Mary Morris. He first commanded a ranger company during the Seven Years' War. His company operated in the Chignecto area during the Petitcodiac River Campaign and later the St. John River Campaign as part of the French and Indian War. He was active against the French and their native allies—for the most part the Mi'kmaq. Benoni D'Entremont
Benoni d'Entremont (c. 1745 – February 21, 1841) was a mariner, shipbuilder, office holder, justice of the peace, and militia officer in Nova Scotia of Acadian descent. Early life He was born in Pubnico, Nova Scotia, around 1745, the son of Jacques Mius d'Entremont, third Baron de Pobomcoup, and Marguerite Amirault. On August 29, 1766, at the age of 21, he returned from exile, arriving in Pubnico with his family and eight others. After his return, he became involved in the civic affairs of Yarmouth County. He was the first Acadian Magistrate and Justice of the Peace in Nova Scotia, recorded in 1780; first Assessor for the Municipality of Argyle the same year, and the first Treasurer of that district, having been appointed the following year. Benoni Irwin (June 29, 1840 – August 26, 1896) was an American portraitist. A pupil of the National Academy of Design in New York City, USA, he trained in Paris with the famous French portraitist Emile Auguste Carolus-Duran (1838–1917). His work was shown in the Exposition Universelle at Paris in 1889, and the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. Irwin had studios in San Francisco, Boston, New Bedford, and New York. Benoni Orrin Reynolds II (July 26, 1824 – January 19, 1911) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate. Benoni Whitten
Benoni Whitten (died 1883) was an American attorney and judge in Oregon. He was the 19th justice of the Oregon Supreme Court in the United States. Though serving on the court, he never heard a trial as a justice during his four months on the bench of Oregon’s highest court, as the Supreme Court was in recess during this time. Early life Whitten was born in the state of Ohio around 1828 to William Whitten. On March 28, 1844 Benoni married Mariah Jane Dunham in Ohio, and they would have at least one daughter named Emma.
