Benji Boko
Benjamin Gordon (born 5 October 1986), known professionally as Benji Boko, is an English DJ and producer. Early life and career Benji Boko grew up in Brighton, East Sussex. He first became interested in remixing from a young age when he stored TV theme tunes on his computer and tried to mix them into each other. Hearing DJ Yoda for the first time inspired him to improve his style of mixing. When he was 18, Benji bought his first turntables and began mixing at friend's house parties in Brighton. In 2008 Benji Boko moved to Leeds to attend Leeds College of Music graduating with a BA(Hons) in Music Production. He managed to get a regular DJ slot at HIFI in Leeds. He played there for three years where he continued to experiment and improve his live mixing ability. Brighton, Sussex
Brighton () is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the City of Brighton and Hove in the county of East Sussex, England. It is located south of London. Yarah Bravo is a singer-songwriter, rapper, poet, beatmaker. Born to a Chilean mother and a Brazilian father, who came to Sweden as political refugees. She sings and raps in English, Swedish and Spanish. She is most known for the song Bluebird with the group One Self and for her EPs ''Love Is The Movement'' and ''Good Girls Rarely Make History''. The Correspondents (band)
The Correspondents were a British electro swing duo based in London, formed by vocalist and MC Mr. Bruce and producer Tim Cole in 2007. Their music has been described as electro swing with a mixture of early 20th century jazz and electro and drum and bass. Their live shows and recorded music consisted of multi-genre dance music spanning blues, jazz, soul, funk and out and out electro pop. The band played at major festivals such as WOMAD, Glastonbury, Bestival, Boomtown and Secret Garden Party. Their song "Fear and Delight" was used as the theme tune to BBC Three comedy ''Crims''. The project was retired on 20 October 2020 after Bruce published a status on The Correspondents' Facebook page stating that Cole had died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism a few days prior.
