Benjamin Cheboi
Benjamin Chesire Cheboi, EBS, is a Kenyan politician who was the first and current Governor of Baringo County. He belongs to the UDA party Early life and education Cheboi was born in 1958 in the then Baringo district. He was educated at Kabarnet Boys High School for both his O levels and Friends School, Kamusinga for his A levels. He then proceeded to University of Nairobi to Pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree. Baringo County
Baringo County is one of the 47 counties in Kenya. It is located in the former Rift Valley Province. Its headquarters and largest town is Kabarnet. The county is home to Lake Baringo. United Democratic Alliance (Kenya)
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the current ruling political party in Kenya. Their slogan is "Kazi ni Kazi" (Work is work) and their symbol is a wheelbarrow .The party, initially called the Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020. The party became notable in January 2021, and is linked to politicians allied to Dr. William Ruto, the President of Kenya. Grace Kobilo Kiptui (born 1967) is a Kenyan politician who served as the woman representative of Baringo County from 2013 until 2017. A member of the United Republican Party, she was elected in the 2013 elections. She is sometimes called "Mama County".
