Benjamin Buss
Benjamin Buss (; born 7 October 1977), best known by his stage name Matthew Greywolf, is a German musician, best known as the guitarist and a main songwriter in the power metal band Powerwolf. He's married to a photographer Janine Buss. Biography Buss comes from Wadgassen. He was raised in a Catholic family. He became interested in heavy metal music when he was 11 years old. In 1994, along with other people he started a band Flowing Tears & Withered Flowers. He was a guitarist and a keyboardist of the band. They changed their name to Flowing Tears in 1999. In 1995 along with his schoolmate Pascal Flach he founded Red Aim. He started Powerwolf along with Charles Greywolf (David Vogt) in 2003. He's the main songwriter of the band and a member that appears in most of the interviews with the group. He also designed the stage setup, merchandise, artwork and layout for most of their albums. David Vogt (; born 5 September 1975), best known by his stage name Charles Greywolf, is a German musician, record producer, mixer and recording engineer. He is best known as the guitarist of the power metal band Powerwolf. He runs a recording studio in Berus, called "Studio Greywolf". He's married to Helen Vogt, vocalist of Lighthouse in Darkness and formerly from Flowing Tears. Career In 2002, David Vogt joined Red Aim as a bassist under a stage name "El Davide". ''Return in Bloodred'' is the first full-length studio album by the German power metal band Powerwolf, released in 2005. History First songs for the album, such as "Mr. Sinister" and "We Came to Take Your Souls", which were completed in the first session, were written in June 2004. Dead Can Dance are an Australian music duo first established in Melbourne. Currently composed of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry, the group formed in 1981. They relocated to London the following year. Australian music historian Ian McFarlane described Dead Can Dance's style as "constructed soundscapes of mesmerising grandeur and solemn beauty; African polyrhythms, Gaelic folk, Gregorian chant, Middle Eastern music, mantras, and art rock." Tiamat (band)
Tiamat is a Swedish metal band that formed in Stockholm in 1987 and led by Johan Edlund. The band went through a number of stylistic changes, usually leaning toward gothic metal. History Initially, the band had the name Treblinka and a style of black/death metal. After having recorded the album ''Sumerian Cry'' in 1989, vocalist/guitarist Johan Edlund and bassist Jörgen Thullberg parted ways with the other two founding members, and subsequently changed the name to Tiamat. Mercyful Fate
Mercyful Fate is a Danish heavy metal band from Copenhagen, formed in 1981 by vocalist King Diamond and guitarist Hank Shermann. Influenced by progressive rock and hard rock, and with lyrics dealing with Satan and the occult, Mercyful Fate were part of the first wave of black metal in the early to mid-1980s, along with Venom and Bathory. The Michael Schenker Group (often abbreviated as MSG) are a guitar-oriented hard rock band, formed in London in 1979 by former Scorpions and UFO guitarist Michael Schenker. In 1986, Schenker and vocalist Robin McAuley formed the McAuley Schenker Group, which lasted until 1993. Afterwards, in 1996, the Michael Schenker Group was reformed. After the release of their second live album, 1984's ''Rock Will Never Die'', its members began to have serious discussions that caused a two-year hiatus, and Michael ended the band in 1986. Scorpions are a German rock band formed in Hanover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker.
