Bengt Bedrup
Bengt Erik Helge Bedrup (né Nilsson) (10 June 1928 – 27 March 2005) was a Swedish journalist and television personality. Career Bedrup was born at Maria Prästgårdsgata in Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden, the son of managing director Helge Nilsson and his wife Karin (née Nygren). He attended ''Viggbyholmsskolan'' in Viggbyholm in 1945 and became at the age of 17 an employee at the newspaper ''Värmlands-Posten'' in Kristinehamn in 1945. The year after he came to the newspaper '' Norra Skåne'' in Hässleholm and then to ''Expressen'' in 1948. Bedrup became employed by the Swedish Radio in 1956 and by the Sveriges Television (SVT) in 1958. During the TV's breakthrough as a medium in the early 1960s, he became nationally famous as a sports journalist. Bosse Parnevik
Bo Sigfrid ("Bosse") Parnevik (born 20 March 1938, in Gothenburg) is a Swedish impersonator, revue artist and comedian. He is member of '' Lokalrevyer i Sverige'' and gives the "Parnevik Scholarship" to good revue artists every year. His son is professional golfer Jesper Parnevik. Biography and career Parnevik moved with his family from Gothenburg to Munkfors when he was 2 years old. There his career as an artist started by performing imitations at youth clubs as a teenager. He debuted on a TV program that was broadcast from Nalen in Stockholm on 31 December 1957, together with Charlie Norman, Ingemar Johansson and Povel Ramel, among others. Parnevik was a good athlete and moved to Stockholm where he studied to be a gymnastic director. Bromma Church
Bromma kyrka is a round church in the borough Bromma in Stockholm, Sweden. The oldest parts of the church were built in the later 12th century as a fortress church, and the church is among Stockholm's oldest buildings. Today it has seven parts: roundhouse, nave, choir, sacristy, grave choir, weaponhouse and crypt. History Originally the church consisted of the round house and a choir on the east side. The nave and the sacristy were constructed in the mid 15th century, built in stone. In the 1480s Albertus Pictor or his pupils painted more than forty biblical church wall paintings, which were restored from overpaints by restorations in 1905–1906. Motives of the paintings are taken from both the Old and the New Testament. On the southern wall of the round house is a crucifix dated from the 15th century. Parkinson's Disease
Parkinson's disease (PD), or simply Parkinson's, is a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system. The symptoms usually emerge slowly, and as the disease worsens, non-motor symptoms become more common. The most obvious early symptoms are tremor, rigidity, slowness of movement, and difficulty with walking. Cognitive and behavioral problems may also occur with depression, anxiety, and apathy occurring in many people with PD. Parkinson's disease dementia becomes common in the advanced stages of the disease. Those with Parkinson's can also have problems with their sleep and sensory systems. The motor symptoms of the disease result from the death of cells in the substantia nigra, a region of the midbrain, leading to a dopamine deficit. Roslagen
Roslagen is the name of the coastal areas of Uppland province in Sweden, which also constitutes the northern part of the Stockholm archipelago. Historically, it was the name for all the coastal areas of the Baltic Sea, including the eastern parts of lake Mälaren, belonging to Svealand. The name was first mentioned in the year 1493 as "Rodzlagen". Before that the area was known as ''Roden''. Roden had a ''skeppslag'' (roughly translated: ship district), the coastal equivalent to the inland Hundreds. Hässelby Villastad
Hässelby Villastad is a city district of Stockholm, in the north-western part of the Swedish capital Stockholm. It forms part of Västerort, Stockholm Municipality. Stretching west to Lake Mälaren, it is largely a high-class area with notable landmarks being the central commercial area Åkermyntan, and the big landfill Lövsta, which was used for all of Stockholm's refuse from the late 19th century to about 1950.
