Bengt Djurberg (23 July 1898 – 2 November 1941) was a Swedish actor and singer. He appeared in about 25 roles in films from 1919 to 1940. Bengt Lagerberg
The Cardigans is a Swedish rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992 by guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson. Post-hiatus shows since 2012 have been with Oskar Humlebo on guitar instead of Svensson. With their debut album ''Emmerdale'' (1994) they gained a solid base in their home country and enjoyed some success abroad, especially in Japan. Their second album ''Life'' (1995) secured them an international reputation. Their popularity rose when their single "Lovefool", from the album ''First Band on the Moon'' (1996), was included in the soundtrack to the 1996 film ''Romeo + Juliet''. Other singles included "Erase/Rewind" and "My Favourite Game" from the album '' Gran Turismo'' (1998). Bengt Göransson
Bengt Göransson (1932–2021) was a Swedish educator and social democrat politician who held different cabinet posts, including minister of culture and minister of education. He also served in the Parliament for two terms between 1985 and 1991. Biography Göransson was born in Södermalm in 1932. In his youth he was a member of the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League. Later he joined the Social Democratic Party. Göransson worked at the Workers' Educational Association and the People’s House. He served as minister of culture from 1982 to 1991. During his term the Gothenburg Film Festival was launched. He was also the minister of education for two terms. Bengt Gottfried Forselius (''ca'' 1660, Harju-Madise, Harju County, Swedish Estonia – November 16, 1688, Baltic Sea) was a founder of public education in Estonia, author of the first ABC-book in the Estonian language, and creator of a spelling system which made the teaching and learning of Estonian easier. Forselius and Johann Hornung were mainly responsible for making a start at reforming the Estonian literary language in the late 17th century. Some German constructions were abandoned, and a strict spelling system was adopted which still relied on German orthography. Forselius was a Swede born in Estonia. His father, Pastor Johann Forselius was originally a Swede from Finland, thus the Swedish family was familiar with Finnic languages. Forselius spoke good Estonian as well as Swedish and German. Count Bengt Gabrielsson Oxenstierna (1623–1702) was a Swedish soldier and statesman, who served as Foreign Minister from 1680 to 1697. During this period, he ensured Sweden remained neutral and moved away from its traditional French alliance. Life Bengt Gabrielsson Oxenstierna was born in Stockholm, Sweden on 16 July 1623, eldest surviving son of Gabriel Bengtsson Oxenstierna (1586–1656), and Anna Gustafsdotter Banér (1585-1656). Bengt Axel Bergt (born 7 May 1982) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who was elected the member of the Bundestag for Segeberg – Stormarn-Mitte in the 2021 German federal election. Bengt Michael Schalin (7 January 1889 – 9 November 1982) was a well-known garden architect and botanist in Finland during the 20th century. Life Schalin obtained his secondary school diploma in 1907 in Turku and went on to study horticulture in Belgium and Germany, where he obtained a degree in gardening in 1912 from the Köstritz Higher School of Horticulture. He ran his own garden design office in Helsinki from 1916 until 1922. From 1922 until 1944, he had his own garden and nursery in Kyrkslätt in Finland. He was employed as the city gardener in Helsinki from 1946 until his retirement in 1957. He was considered one of Finland's leading experts in the field of garden archicture, with a speciality in perennial plants and decorative bushes. Bengt Nordenberg (April 22, 1822 – December 18, 1902) was a Swedish artist. He belonged to the Düsseldorf school of painting and is best known for his genre paintings with everyday life scenes from the Dalarna, Skåne and Blekinge areas of Sweden. He moved to Düsseldorf in the 1850s. Biography Nordenberg was born at Jämshög in Blekinge County, Sweden. He was one of nine siblings born to Per Jönsson Nord (1785-1854) and his wife Sissa Bengtsdotter (b. 1792). He grew up in poverty and became an apprentice to a painter in Sölvesborg. In 1843 he fulfilled his wish to come to Stockholm and study at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts. In the autumn of 1851, he went to the Düsseldorf Academy, where first Theodor Hildebrandt and then later, Adolph Tidemand became his teachers. Bengt Lindström
Bengt Karl Erik Lindström (September 3, 1925, Berg Municipality — January 29, 2008, Sundsvall) was a Swedish artist. Lindström was one of Sweden's best known contemporary artists with a characteristic style of distinct colors, often including contorted faces. He had two children, Mariana and Alexandre. In 2003, Lindström became disabled due to a stroke and he became unable to paint. The year 2004 saw the release of a film about Bengt's life: "Lindström - Le Diable de la Couleur et de la Forme" (Lindström – A Hell of a Feeling for Colour and Form).
