Ben Mbala
Benoit Mbala (born July 13, 1995) is a Cameroonian professional basketball player for OGM Ormanspor of the TBL. He played college basketball in the Philippines, playing for the SWU Cobras of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) and the De La Salle Green Archers of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Early life and career Mbala is a native of Yaoundé, Cameroon. He was first into football until the age of 13 when he grew about 6 feet 2 inches tall and switched to playing basketball. His older brother who manages the junior team of their municipality urged him to play for the team. He attended Institute Ndi Samba for his high school studies and made attempts to join his school's varsity team on his first two years. He continued to play for his municipality's team and managed to play for his high school in his last two years of secondary education. The Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup (previously known as the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup) is a pre-season collegiate basketball tournament in the Philippines. It is organized by Filoil EcoOil Sports. It gathers teams mainly from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), but also include some invited teams such as the RP Youth under-18 team and teams from other leagues, in a basketball tournament just before the start of the collegiate season. The University of the Visayas (UV) is a private institution located in Cebu City, Philippines. It is the first school in the province of Cebu to attain university status. History Vicente Gullas (1898–1970) founded the University of the Visayas in 1919 aiming to educate young people from average-income families. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute ( ; born 9 September 1986) is a Cameroonian former professional basketball player who last played for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Yaoundé
Yaoundé (; , ) is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala.
