The Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic was a golf tournament on the Nike Tour from 1990 to 1997. It was played at the Windance Country Club in Gulfport, Mississippi from 1990 to 1995 and at the Mississippi National Golf Club in Gautier, Mississippi from 1996 to 1997. Gulfport is the second-largest city in Mississippi after the state capital, Jackson. Along with Biloxi, Gulfport is the co-county seat of Harrison County and the larger of the two principal cities of the Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 1995 Nike Tour season was the sixth season of the Nike Tour, the PGA Tour's official developmental tour, now known as the Korn Ferry Tour. Thomas Edward Lehman (born March 7, 1959) is an American professional golfer. A former number 1 ranked golfer, his tournament wins include one major title, the 1996 Open Championship; and he is the only golfer in history to have been awarded the Player of the Year honor on all three PGA Tours: the regular PGA Tour, the Web.com Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. Bruce Zabriski
Bruce Zabriski (born August 3, 1957) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour, European Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Zabriski joined the European Tour in 1985 and would play on the Tour until 1987. His best finish came at the Benson & Hedges International Open where he finished in a tie for 6th. He also recorded his best finish on the Order of Merit that year, finishing 103rd. Zabriski joined the PGA Tour in 1988, earning his Tour card through qualifying school. He struggled in his rookie year and his best finish came at the Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic where he finished in a tie for twelfth, a career best. He played in five Nationwide Tour events in 1991 where he recorded three top-10 finishes including a win at the Ben Hogan Panama City Beach Classic.
