Ben Green (racing Driver)
Ben Green (born 2 February 1998) is an English racing driver. He currently drives for Emil Frey Racing in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup and competes for Walkenhorst Racing in the Bronze class of the Endurance Cup. Previously, the Englishman won the 2021 DTM Trophy, having reached European racing following a number of years in Ginetta-based competitions and a stint in the British GT Championship, where he finished second in the 2018 GT4 standings. He also competed in the ADAC GT Masters, scoring a double victory at the Red Bull Ring alongside Niklas Krütten in his debut year. He returned to partner Eduardo Coseteng in 2023, though despite scoring three podiums, the pair finished seventh in the standings, last of all full-time entrants. In the first race of the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup season at Brands Hatch, which he contested alongside Konsta Lappalainen, Green took pole position before finishing second. 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup
The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup is the twelfth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup following on from the demise of the SRO Motorsports Group's FIA GT1 World Championship (an auto racing series for grand tourer cars), the fourth with the sponsorship of Fanatec. The season begins on 4 May at Brands Hatch, and will end on 13 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Calendar The calendar was released on 1 July 2023 at the SRO's annual 24 Hours of Spa press conference, featuring five rounds. Several adjustments were announced, including Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya joining the sprint schedule after being shuffled out of the endurance schedule, and the addition of Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours after a year away. The 2016 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup is a multi-event, one make GT motor racing championship held across England and Scotland. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in Ginetta G55s that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. It forms part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece. 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup
The 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup is the thirteenth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series. The season began on 22 April at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and will end on 1 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Calendar The provisional calendar was released on July 29, 2022 at the SRO's annual 24 Hours of Spa press conference, featuring five rounds. In a change from the 2022 schedule, the opening round at Imola was moved back to Monza. The calendar was further adjusted to alleviate a conflict between the Belgian Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Spa. The 24-hour event was moved forward to the weekend of 1–2 July, while the Monza round was moved forward one week, and Nürburgring returned to the calendar. 2023 ADAC GT Masters
The 2023 ADAC GT Masters is the seventeenth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded by the German automobile club ADAC. Prior to the season, the ADAC had initially confirmed that the series was set to pivot to a new formula. Dubbed DTM Endurance, the championship would become a support series for the DTM and feature both GT3 and LMP3 machinery, merging with the Prototype Cup Germany. The series was also set to forbid the presence of FIA Platinum-ranked drivers. While these plans were scrapped following backlash from teams, the series would require teams to field an FIA Silver or Bronze-rated driver in each driver lineup. Schubert Motorsport is a private motorsport team founded and owned by team principal and European Autocross champion Torsten Schubert, and headquartered in Oschersleben, Germany (near the Motorsport Arena). The team has operated as a BMW privateer since its inception in 1999 (except in 2018), with plenty of success, and has specialised in endurance racing since 2004. Although it is closely related to contract BMW associate Schubert Motors GmbH, also owned by Torsten Schubert, they are separate entities. 2020 DTM Trophy
The 2020 DTM Trophy was the inaugural season of the DTM support series for GT cars eligible for E2-SH and E2-SC-class FIA categories. The series will be run by ITR, the association also organising the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. The championship ran as part of selected DTM race weekends in 2020, commencing in Spa-Franchorchamps on 1 August and finishing on 8 November at the Hockenheimring.
