Ben Baldwin
Ben Baldwin (born 1979) is a British television presenter, he was one of the main hosts of ITV's ''Make Your Play''. Ben has also presented on ITV Play's ''This Morning Puzzle Book''. He currently works on Endemol Produced Gala TV every Thursday and Friday. Early life and education Ben was born in Glasgow, 1979. He graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting. Other projects Baldwin was a member of the presentation and development team on Sky's interactive gaming channel Sky Vegas, and reported regularly on the SkyPoker website. ITV (TV Network)
ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). ITV is the oldest commercial network in the UK. Since the passing of the Broadcasting Act 1990, it has been legally known as Channel 3 to distinguish it from the other analogue channels at the time, BBC1, BBC2 and Channel 4. ITV was for four decades a network of separate companies which provided regional television services and also shared programmes between each other to be shown on the entire network. ''Make Your Play'' was a live, interactive quiz show, showing in the UK on the ITV Network, from Monday to Saturday, beginning after midnight. The show was launched on Friday 29 September 2006 on ITV and ITV Play. The prizes were greater than usually available on ITV Play (often exceeding £20,000), but as a result of this, callers are usually taken less often. In order to win money, viewers had to either call in at a cost of 75p from a BT landline, or enter through the ITV website. If they were successful, they would have been placed on hold, then transferred live to the studio if they was lucky, where they then went on to deliver their answer.
