BenDeLaCreme (born September 24, 1981) is the stage persona of Benjamin H. Putnam, an American drag queen, burlesque performer, and actor based in Seattle, Washington. He is known for being a contestant on the sixth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' and the third season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars.'' He is also known for his solo shows '' Ready To Be Committed'', ''Terminally Delightful'', ''Inferno A-Go-Go'' and ''Cosmos'', and as co-creator and host of burlesque revues ''Freedom Fantasia'' and ''Homo for the Holidays.'' Early life Putnam grew up in Litchfield, Connecticut, attending Litchfield High School. During his performance on ''Drag Race'', Putnam revealed that he was bullied as a child for being overweight, "weird", and gay. His mother, who had been the positive voice to counteract this, died of cancer when he was 13 years old. The third season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'' began airing on January 25, 2018. The season was announced in August 2017, and 9 of the 10 cast members were revealed during a VH1 television special titled "Exclusive Queen Ruveal," which aired on October 20, 2017. This season featured ten "All Star" contestants, selected from the show's first season through to its ninth season, who competed to be inducted into the "''Drag Race'' Hall of Fame". As in the previous season, the top two queens in the challenge compete in a "Lip Sync for Your Legacy," with the winner of the lip sync earning $10,000 and choosing which of the bottom queens gets eliminated. The sixth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' began airing February 24, 2014. Like the fifth season, the season featured 14 contestants competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar". For the first time in the show's history, the season premiere was split into two episodes; the fourteen queens were split into two groups and the seven queens in each group competed against each other before being united as one group for the third episode. Jerick Roman Lamar Hoffer (born September 18, 1987), better known by the stage name Jinkx Monsoon, is an American drag performer, actor, comedian and singer best known for winning the fifth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' and the seventh season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'', becoming the first person to win two seasons of the show across its iterations. ''Waxie Moon'' is a documentary directed by Wes Hurley and centered on the gender-bending Juilliard-trained burlesque performer, Waxie Moon (performer), Waxie Moon. The film captures the burgeoning and mostly-queer neo-burlesque community in Seattle in the 2000s. It features interviews with dozens of performers and artists, including the burlesque icons Miss Dirty Martini and Tigger!, author and performer Marya Sea Kaminski, drag superstar BenDeLaCreme, and many others. The film also includes the original song, titled "Waxie Moon", which was inspired by James Bond scores. The song was composed by Eric Lane Barnes of the Seattle Men's Chorus and Seattle Women's Chorus, and performed by Sarah Rudinoff and Paul Rosenberg.
