Bellavista District
Bellavista is a district of the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru, and one of the seven districts that comprise the port city of Callao. The current mayor of the district is Daniel Malpartida. Geography The district has a total land area of 4.56 km2. Its administrative center is located 34 meters above sea level. Boundaries Bellavista is the only district in the Callao to have an almost perfect geometrical shape, as it is a rectangle where the southern border with both the Lima Province and La Perla is marked by Avenida Venezuela. On the north, Avenida Oscar Benavides (formerly known as Avenida Colonial) marks the district's border with the Callao District, which it also borders on the west in Jr. Andrés Santiago Vigil. The districts of Peru () are the third-level country subdivisions of Peru. They are subdivisions of the provinces of Peru, provinces, which in turn are subdivisions of the larger regions of Peru, regions or departments. There are 1,838 districts in total. Overview A 1982 law requires a minimum of residents in an area for a new district to be legally established: 3,500 if it is located in the rainforest, 4,000 in the Andes highlands and 10,000 in the Chala, coastal area. In the dry Andean area, many districts have less than 3,500 inhabitants due to low population density in the area. In some cases, their populations have decreased in comparison to the days when they were founded. Districts that are located at very high altitudes tend to be scarcely populated. Peru 2005 Census
# The 2005 Peru Census was a detailed enumeration of the Peruvian population. It was conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática from July 18 through August 20, 2005. Its full name in Spanish is ''X Censo de Población y V de Vivienda'' ("Tenth Population and Fifth Household Census"). The previous census performed in Peru was the 1993 Census. The following census was the 2007 Census. The results of the census were released to the public on November 30, 2005 after all the census materials from the country's 25 regions were transported to Arequipa and processed at the INEI information processing center in that city. Estadio Miguel Grau (Callao)
Estadio Miguel Grau is a multi-use stadium in the Bellavista District of Callao, Peru. The stadium is part of the Sport Village of Callao (''Villa Deportiva del Callao'') or ''Yahuar Huaca'', which is owned by the Callao Regional Government since 2011. Its use is available to several football teams in the region including Sport Boys, Universidad de San Martín and Academia Cantolao who play their home matches here for the Torneo Descentralizado. Callao District
Callao is one of the seven districts of the Constitutional Province of Callao in the Callao Region, Peru. The Chillón River marks the district's northern border with Ventanilla. On the east, the Callao district is bordered by the Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso as well as the Lima Province's districts of San Martín de Porres and Lima. The Bellavista and the La Perla districts are located to the southeast, while La Punta borders the district on the west. The Pacific Ocean borders the province on the west and south.
