"Begging" is a 2013 song by Swedish singer Anton Ewald. The song was released on February 22, 2013, as the lead single from his debut extended play, ''A''. Written by Fredrik Kempe and Anton Malmberg Hård af Segerstad, it was performed in Melodifestivalen 2013 in the second semi-final was held on 9 February 2013 in Scandinavium, Gothenburg. Finishing 3rd/4th, it went on to the Second Chance round, where it passed through to the Melodifestivalen final after a duel with Behrang Miri and his song "Jalla Dansa Sawa". In the finals, it finished at fourth place, failing to qualify to 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Despite the result at the contest, the song gained popularity with the Swedish public and the single was released immediately after the competition. Anton Ewald
Anton Kim Ewald (born August 7, 1993) is a Swedish singer and dancer. He has participated in Melodifestivalen several times as both a background dancer and singer. Career Ewald began his career as a background dancer at Melodifestivalen. In Melodifestivalen 2009, he danced behind Velvet when she competed in the third semi-final in Leksand with "The Queen". In Melodifestivalen 2012 he was a dancer and choreographer behind Danny Saucedo in his song " Amazing". He also danced and choreographed Andreas Lundstedt number "Aldrig aldrig" ("Never Never") during the same year's competition. Seyed Behrang Miri ( fa, بهرنگ میری; born in Iran on 17 January 1984) is a Swedish rapper, songwriter and actor of Iranian origin. Early life He moved to Sweden with his parents in 1987 when he was just three. He grew up in Lund. In 2008, he took part in theater production ''Zlatans leende'' in Malmö City Theatre. The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Euphoria" by Loreen. Melodifestivalen 2013 was the Swedish music competition that selected the 53rd Swedish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Robin Stjernberg's song "You" won the final, and became the first Second Chance song to win the Melodifestivalen final. The final took place at the Friends Arena on 9 March 2013. For the twelfth consecutive year, the competition consisted of four semifinals, a "second chance" round, and a final. A total of 32 competing entries were divided into four semifinals, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that earned first and second place went directly to the final, while the songs that were placed third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance semifinal.
