Zrenjanin ( sr-Cyrl, Зрењанин, ; hu, Nagybecskerek; ro, Becicherecu Mare; sk, Zreňanin; german: Großbetschkerek) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The Bega Canal or Begej Canal (; hu, Béga-csatorna) is a navigation canal of Romania and Serbia. It is the first navigation canal built on the present-day territory of Romania, and serves the city of Timișoara. Its name comes from the Bega river. The Bega Veche (also: ''Beregsău'', sr, Стари Бегеј – ''Stari Begej'') is a left tributary of the river Bega in Romania and Serbia. It discharges into the canalized part of the Bega near Zrenjanin. In Romania, its length is and its basin size is . The lower part of the river is the old course of the Bega. It drains the area north of the city of Timișoara. Balinț ( hu, Bálinc; german: Balintz) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Balinț, Bodo ( hu, Nagybodófalva), Fădimac ( hu, Fagymag) and Târgoviște ( hu, Vásáros). It borders Bara to the north, Coșteiu to the south, Belinț and Ghizela to the west and Bethausen to the east.
